About The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to support accurate financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations at Tuatahi. This role is central to maintaining strong internal controls, ensuring the integrity of our financial data, and meeting external and statutory obligations.
What you will do:
• Month-End Close – Prepare monthly reports, manage reconciliations, and ensure the timely and accurate completion of period-end processes.
• Support Balance Sheet Accuracy – Completion of reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, lease accounting (NZ IFRS 16), and fixed asset accounting.
• Support Statutory & Tax Compliance – Assist with year-end audits, financial statement preparation, and tax submissions (including GST, FBT, and income tax).
• Enhance Systems & Controls – Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and reporting—reducing manual effort and increasing accuracy.
• Collaborate & Contribute – Provide financial support to colleagues across the business and participate in special projects that create business value.
What you will bring:
· A tertiary qualification in accounting and membership with CAANZ (or equivalent) or working toward it.

3–4 years of accounting experience, ideally in a similar role or within a complex, multi-entity organisation.
Strong technical skills in Excel, NZ tax and accounting standards, and financial reporting.
Familiarity with ERP systems (ideally Dynamics 365 F&O) is a plus.
A proactive, detail-focused mindset, with excellent organisation, communication, and problem solving skills.
Experience in the telecommunications or infrastructure sector is desirable but not essential.
