Scope IT are a small and dedicated MSP/ IT solutions provider who punch well above our weight. Our clients stretch from Southland to Whangarei and range from 2-200 users across a number of industries. Our goal is to always listen and provide an individual solution that fits their needs.
We are looking to add a senior engineer to the team to work alongside and mentor our existing techs.
For the day to day role, we always try to keep things interesting, so you will be across a wide range of jobs, including:
Microsoft Servers (On-Prem, Hybrid and Cloud)
Managed Networking solutions e.g. routers, switches, access points etc
Security, including firewalls and endpoints
Microsoft 365 stack
VoIP solutions (3CX)
Endpoint support and a whole lot more
What we are looking for:
Someone who is personable, reliable and customer focused
A desire to learn, collaborate and take the lead where necessary
Excellent organisation, documentation and time-management skills
Experience in administering business networks including Windows Server and Desktop operating systems
Advanced networking ability configuring and managing routers, switches and firewalls.
Experience with Microsoft Cloud solutions including M365, InTune and Azure
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to find the right solution
Must hold a current drivers license and preferably their own vehicle.
Ideally our preferred candidate would have 5+ years of practical experience working within a technical environment.
