OCULA is looking for a passionate and client-focused Optical Assistant or Dispensing Optician to join our vibrant team. Whether you're newly qualified or an experienced professional, this is your chance to grow with a business that values excellence, style, and innovation in eye care.
Shape lives through exceptional eye care
You’ll work alongside optometrists and a collaborative team to deliver tailored optical solutions. Whether you’re guiding a client to the perfect frame, coaching colleagues, or resolving complex visual challenges, your role is key in creating 10/10 client experiences.
Your day-to-day will include:
Delivering expert, empathetic optical support across pre-testing, dispensing, and frame styling
Collaborating with the team to achieve practice growth and seamless client journeys
Using your creativity and product knowledge to balance visual needs with fashion-forward recommendations
Coaching and mentoring colleagues, particularly in dispensing queries and customer engagement
Championing accuracy in stock and lab coordination while supporting the clinic workflow
What you bring:
For Dispensing Opticians: Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing or equivalent, plus proven retail and clinical expertise
For Optical Assistants: Outstanding interpersonal skills, a flair for fashion and service, and a drive to learn
Tech-savviness and a team-first mindset
A commitment to personal development and continuous improvement
