The Opportunity
As our business continues to grow, we are seeking proactive Optics Technicians to help optimize one of the most important technologies in our packhouse — the MAF Roda Globalscan grading system. This hands-on, fast-paced role sits at the core of our grading operations, supporting both daily production targets and quality outcomes.
What You’ll Do
· Build capability in fruit-mapping and recognition performance
· Improve Class 1 packout percentages through accurate machine optimisation
· Work closely with the Quality Manager to meet Zespri and internal grade standards
· Support the operation and basic maintenance of Globalscan equipment
· Minimise downtime through proactive planning and troubleshooting
