About the Role:
Are you a tech-savvy problem solver looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced team? We're seeking a Technical Support professional to join Fleetpin in Christchurch.
As a key member of our team, in this office-based role you'll be on the front lines of ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional technical support and resolving any issues our customers may encounter. You'll have the chance to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of GPS technology and telematics, while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic environment that encourages growth and development.
With access to extensive training and mentorship, you'll have the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge, learn from experienced professionals, and develop your communication and problem-solving skills by working directly with our valued customers.
This role would be an excellent fit for a recent graduate in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline, or for someone with hands-on experience in auto-electrical systems, vehicle electronics, or technical installations.
Formal qualifications are not essential, we are equally interested in practical experience, technical aptitude, and a strong problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Provide technical support to Fleetpin customers
§ Respond to customer inquiries and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
§ Assist in diagnosing and solving technical issues with all of our stakeholders, including installers, hardware manufacturers, software engineers, telcos etc.
§ Input customer data and notes accurately and timely
§ Manage customer escalations professionally and focus on solutions
§ Collaborate with all teams within Fleetpin to ensure customer satisfaction
§ Stay up-to-date with the latest Fleetpin products and services
§ Continuously improve your technical and customer service skills
Requirements:
§ Customer or technical support/service experience preferable, but not essential
§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
§ Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work in a fast-paced environment
§ Proven problem-solving and solution-focused skills
§ Background or strong interest in electronics, electrical systems, vehicle electronics, or technical installations
§ Electrical, electronic, IT, mechatronics, or auto-electrical study or experience (formal qualification not required)
§ Experience with CRM systems and processes (preferred)
