About the Role
The Customer Support Specialist will join Kacific’s support team and will be based in New Zealand. He/She will report to the Sales Director in New Zealand. With our HQ in Singapore and team members based across APAC. Kacific (www.kacific.com) is a leading next generation wholesale broadband satellite operator that is disrupting its industry and bringing telecommunication services (high speed internet) to countries in the Pacific and Southeast Asia. With our first satellite launched in 2019 this is an exciting time to join the team at Kacific.
We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our support team. As a Part-Time Customer Support Staff member, you will handle customer queries, resolve service issues, and assist with product and account-related inquiries. Your focus will be on delivering proactive, professional, and friendly support to ensure every customer has a positive experience.
The employee shall perform the following tasks or any tasks as directed which are reasonably consistent with the skills of the employee.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to inbound customer calls, emails, and chat messages promptly and professionally.
Assist customers with billing, connection, and technical support queries.
Log and track inquiries using the company’s CRM system (Zoho).
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate departments.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and promotions.
Meet individual and team performance goals including response time and customer satisfaction targets.
Follow workplace health, safety, and privacy compliance standards.
Support with ad hoc tasks as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
Previous customer service experience preferred; telecom or contact center experience is an advantage.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Confident using multiple software systems and online tools.
Patient, empathetic, and solution-focused approach.
Reliable, adaptable and attention to detail.
Eligible to work in New Zealand.
Working Hours
Part-time position, approximately 15–25 hours per week.
Flexible roster including weekday, evening, or weekend shifts.
