Senior Performance & Media Planner/Buyer

Werk Agency is looking for a Senior Performance & Media Planner/Buyer to lead integrated planning and buying across digital and traditional media channels.
This role is ideal for someone from a media agency or integrated planning background who also enjoys being hands-on with digital performance.
What you’ll do
Build and manage integrated media plans across OOH, pDOOH, BVOD, radio, publishers and digital
Plan and buy media with NZ partners (NZME, Stuff, JCDecaux, Go Media, Shout, MediaWorks, TVNZ, etc.)
Manage and optimise digital campaigns across Meta and Google
Own pacing, budgets, performance tracking and post-campaign reporting
Lead media conversations with clients and provide strategic recommendations
Work closely with creative teams to ensure media effectiveness
What we’re looking for
5–8+ years experience in media planning, buying or integrated agency roles
Strong understanding of NZ media suppliers and negotiation processes
Solid hands-on experience with Meta and Google Ads
Comfortable presenting media strategy and results to clients
Organised, analytical and commercially focused
