The role
This role is primarily focused on VoIP phone systems. You’ll be working with a mix of new installs and ongoing support, helping customers get the most out of their systems.
What you’ll be doing
Installing, programming and supporting VoIP phone systems
Troubleshooting faults and providing responsive customer support
Training customers and handing over completed systems
Quoting, scoping and writing proposals
Account management and supporting new and existing customers
Working with platforms/devices including 3CX, Yeastar, Yealink, Grandstream
Experience in structured cabling/data, CCTV and IT support is appreciated, but not essential.
What we’re looking for
Must-haves
Hands-on experience with VoIP solutions and network devices
Confidence with SIP, routers, VLANs, PoE switches and cloud PBX
Competent with Microsoft Office and general business software
Full NZ driver licence
Intermediate to senior level capability
Soft skills that matter
Confident, friendly and professional with customers
Clear communicator who can explain technical issues in plain English
Strong problem-solver who stays calm under pressure
Quick learner who picks up new systems and processes fast
Reliable and well-organised (good job notes, tidy handovers)
Team player who can work independently and check in when needed
A real standout (nice-to-have)
Strong experience programming, maintaining and troubleshooting VoIP systems
Comfortable across a wide range of hardware and platforms
Relevant industry certification
Salary
Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience.
