Warehouse and Print Operator
Optica Life Accessories has been supplying optometry practices, pharmacists, retail stores and industrial businesses with quality products for over sixty years. Our warehouse is a busy environment supplying to our valued customers in New Zealand and Australia.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, we have an opportunity for a reliable and dedicated person to support our busy warehouse department. The role is fixed term for a period of 6 months and around 32 hours a week (negotiable), Monday to Friday with additional hours likely if available. There is some flexibility regarding start and finish time and days worked.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Picking, packing and dispatching of orders as required
Complete inwards goods receipts and stock takes
Complete production and assembly tasks as required
Ensure all operations are conducted safely
Complete any other appropriate operations tasks as and when required by the business
Assisting with print room operation.
We are looking for:
Experience in operations and/or warehouse environment would be beneficial
Strong attention to detail.
Motivated and energetic.
Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
OSH Forklift licence, experience with reach forklifts is highly regarded. - but not essential
Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects up to 20kg per carton.
Good verbal & written communication
Computer literate and familiar with e-mail and other basic software
