Shoptalk is looking for practical field technicians to help keep digital screens online in Wellington, Kapiti, Horowhenua, Manawatu, Taupo & Auckland
This is a casual, hands on role visiting real businesses, solving real problems, and getting screens back up and running. Perfect for someone who is tech capable, independent, and comfortable working on site with customers during business hours.
Shoptalk operates a nationwide digital screen network across retail, fitness, hospitality, and health locations.
This role focuses on keeping those screens online and working properly.
What the role involves
Visiting sites to troubleshoot and restore offline tv's
Basic setup and configuration of digital display hardware
Connecting screens to WiFi or mobile data
Diagnosing simple network or router issues
Occasional screen installs or removals if capable
Communicating clearly with clients and head office
What we are looking for
Practical problem-solving skills
Comfortable using Android devices, apps, and basic settings
A basic understanding of WiFi and routers is an advantage
Able to work independently and manage your own schedule
Fluent in English speaking and clear communication
Own vehicle, mileage paid
Comfortable using a step ladder

Work occurs during normal business hours
Regions include Auckland, Wellington, Taupō, Kapiti, Horowhenua, and Manawatū
