Bowen Eye Clinic – Wellington’s premier laser eye clinic – is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. We specialise in providing excellence in laser and cataract eye surgery.
Working in a small team, this permanent full time role will be responsible for support with patient services. On-the-job training will be provided for you to learn to perform diagnostic eye scans, assist with minor surgical procedures in the theatre, and undertake administrative duties. Your commitment to providing high-quality patient care is your priority.
This is a great opportunity for someone with optical experience or a recent science graduate who is looking to enter the healthcare industry. Previous experience in a laboratory setting, along with knowledge of safety and compliance, customer relations and service would be an advantage.
Starting salary range NZ$65- $73,000 + annual bonus
Hours of work are from 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday, with Wednesday typically 10:00am - 6:00pm. Christmas closure of 4 weeks over the festive season.
