Experienced Livestream & Camera Technicians – Corporate & Hybrid Events
Vidcom is looking for experienced casual technicians to support a growing pipeline of livestream, studio, and hybrid corporate events across Auckland.
Our work spans conferences, shareholder meetings, awards dinners, special events, and broadcast-style productions delivered in world-class venues and our Auckland studio. We’re looking for technicians who can step into a live environment and deliver with confidence, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Key experience we’re looking for
Livestream & Vision
vMix operation
Operation of Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other virtual event platforms
Camera switching / vision mixing
PTZ camera control and setup
Camera operation (manned or robotic)
Livestream setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Technical
Basic networking for streaming (IP configuration, troubleshooting, and NDI workflows)
Strong understanding of signal flow and system setup
Experience in live event, studio, or broadcast environments
Hands-on role
Our technicians are involved in the full delivery process, including equipment preparation, load-in and setup, testing and rehearsal, event operation, and pack-down and load-out. We’re looking for people who are happy to be hands-on and work as part of the crew from start to finish.
What we need from you
Proven experience delivering live productions
Calm and professional under pressure
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Positive attitude and team-first approach
Good client communication skills
Full New Zealand driver’s licence
NZ residency or valid work visa
