What's on offer?
Starting on March 16th, this is an independent contract role expected to run until the end of June 2026. The purpose of this role is to support the existing IT provider in delivering an in-flight SD-WAN project.
As an experienced engineer on the team, this role will see you supporting the project in various ways, such as reviewing existing network configurations at client sites that are due to be upgraded. You will also be remotely overseeing the IT provider's upgrade of Cisco equipment at each site.
This role offers a combination of WFH days and on-site working in Newlands.

This role will be supporting a prominent crown entity based in Wellington.

- Mid-Senior level networking skills (5-7+ years of professional experience).
- A demonstrated history of working with Cisco Catalyst and Cisco Meraki.
- Proactive & able to work with vendors/3rd parties.
- Cisco routers, switches, AP’s, Wifi
- Meraki SD-WAN, switches, AP’s, Wifi
- Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls
- FortiGate firewalls
