Based in Auckland’s North Shore, we are a well-established distributor and supplier of electronic components, custom solutions, and wire & cable products, with offices in Auckland and Hong Kong. Our products are distributed across Australasia, Asia, Europe, and the United States.
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team on a 6 to 12 month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this role is based at our Rosedale, Albany office. We’re looking for a hands-on, execution-focused marketer to support marketing activities across New Zealand and Australia. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver engaging, on-brand digital content across social, email, and web channels.
You must possess excellent communication skills, strong organisational and time-management skills, attention to detail, the ability to think outside the box, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Nurturing: Support and execute lead generation initiatives across multiple channels, including social media, events, email campaigns, and website. Develop and manage lead-nurturing activities to move prospects through the sales funnel.
Content Creation: Support and coordinate the development of high-quality, engaging content that educates and informs our B2B audience, including banners, blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, videos, and other relevant assets.
Website Maintenance: Update and maintain website content, managing ongoing content changes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with marketing campaigns.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders and overseas suppliers, supporting collaboration across marketing initiatives.
Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with the Sales team to ensure marketing activities are aligned with sales objectives. Provide sales enablement materials and ongoing support to help improve lead conversion and customer engagement.
Key Skills and Experience
We are keen to talk to experienced marketing professionals with the following attributes:
Graphic design skills, with experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
Experience building, designing, and managing email campaigns (experience with Mailchimp is an advantage).
Experience managing multiple social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
Strong project management skills with hands-on experience in website management.
Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to work independently and autonomously.
Honesty, integrity, and a good moral compass.
A ‘can-do’ attitude with a positive outlook and a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Hard-working and determined.
Experience working within the electronics or electronic components industry would be an advantage.
