What's on offer?
We are seeking a senior-level Disaster Recovery Specialist/Consultant to assist our client in leading a review of the DR posture of their Tier 1 and Tier 2 critical applications. Working as part of the Hybrid Multi-Cloud team, this role will see you carrying out a current-state DR capability analysis, conducting risk assessments, and creating a prioritised remediation roadmap. Some vendor assurance activities will also be involved.
This work is currently estimated to last eight months, with the contract initially offered until 30 June, followed by a further 4-5 months' extension.
Who's the Client?This role will focus on working with a large public-sector organisation. With their head office in Wellington, the team is national; hence, this position can be delivered from anywhere in New Zealand.
What you'll bring - A proven history of delivering senior-level Disaster Recovery services across complex technical environments.
- A proven track record in building Disaster Recovery frameworks and uplift programmes.
- Experience applying a risk-based approach aligned to critical system resilience.
- New Zealand public sector experience with an understanding of government assurance and governance environments.
- Strong documentation skills
- An engaging personality with excellent stakeholder management skills
- A problem solver mindset
