Senior Automation Engineer – ACSE Limited | New Zealand
ACSE Limited is looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to lead advanced industrial automation projects. This role is perfect for engineers who thrive on machine vision, motion control, and complex PLC systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design, programming, and commissioning of Rockwell, Siemens, and Beckhoff PLCs
Integrate machine vision and motion control systems
Design and modify parts in Fusion 360
Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve automation systems
Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery
Requirements
Strong experience across multiple PLC platforms
Proven machine vision & motion control experience
Proficiency with Fusion 360
Legally able to work in New Zealand
Full, clean NZ driver’s license
Bonus Skills
C# or other programming languages for automation/software integration
HMI/SCADA experience
Industrial networking knowledge (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, EtherCAT)
