An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Optometrist to join our busy and well-established Specsavers store in Onehunga. You will be part of a supportive, collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional clinical care and customer service to the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive eye examinations using state-of-the-art diagnostic technology
Detect, diagnose, and manage a wide range of ocular conditions
Prescribe and recommend appropriate optical solutions tailored to patient needs
Provide clear, professional communication and patient education
Work closely with retail and optical dispensing teams to ensure a seamless patient journey
Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records
About You
Registered Optometrist with eligibility to practice in New Zealand (ODOB registered)
Proven clinical experience in a fast-paced practice environment
Strong diagnostic, clinical, and problem-solving skills
Passionate about patient care and delivering outstanding service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Must available to work weekends
