Our clinic covers two areas with our main location being Dunedin Central and our satellite clinic in Queenstown.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role (in-person / virtual) for an Administrator. The Administrator will work with our current admin staff to increase our efficiency and patient care pathways. It will involve handling day-to-day administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, helping with surgical bookings, managing patient records, invoicing, billing and coordinating office activities. Additionally, the role involves supporting the clinical team, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring clinic operations run smoothly. The position is located in Dunedin, with some requirements to travel to Queenstown, and some work from home opportunities available.

Qualifications
Proficient in English : Both speaking and writing.
Administrative skills such as scheduling, managing records, and office coordination
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle patient inquiries and support the clinical team and work with the current Admin team.
Proficiency in using Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), email, internet browser, Xero accounting software (invoicing), and mobile apps.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
Previous experience in a healthcare setting, including ophthalmology, is preferable but not essential.
Experience in dealing with insurance portals (Southern Cross), NIB, and ACC
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in administration or healthcare management is advantageous
