Who are we?
At The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ, like our Founder the legendary Kiwi eye surgeon Professor Fred Hollows, we believe every eye is an eye; whether it belongs to a world leader or someone living in a remote Pacific community. That is why we work tirelessly every day to restore the sight of our Pacific neighbours, train local eye specialists so they can restore sight in their own communities and support local partners to build more effective and independent eye healthcare systems.
We are looking for a collaborative Digital Coordinator to provide vital support to our Engagement Team as we share this mission with our supporters.
The Role:
Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Digital Coordinator plays a key supporting role in ensuring our digital channels are effective, accurate, and aligned with our vision. You will work closely with the Digital Communications Specialist to help implement our digital strategy and deliver engaging experiences that drive fundraising and reach across all platforms.
What You'll Do:
Content Assistance: Help create digital content for social media, email, and the website that reflects our brand tone and values.
Social Media Coordination: Support the execution of multi-channel campaigns and provide timely, appropriate replies to our online community.
Email Marketing: Act as a key internal user for our email platform, assisting with in-house builds, subscriber list maintenance, and QA checks.
Campaign & Website Support: Assist with the administrative side of digital fundraising and collaborate on website updates to ensure a safe, accessible experience for visitors.
Reporting & Assets: Help the Digital Communications Specialist analyze campaign performance and support the maintenance of our digital photo and video libraries.
What we’re looking for:
Every member of The Foundation brings something unique to the table. Here is what we are looking for with this role:
2 years+ experience in digital marketing, including content production and social media management.
Experience using social media platforms and email marketing tools such as Campaign Monitor and Meta Business Suite.
Strong administrative and time management skills, comfortable handling tasks like invoicing and campaign coordination.
Collaborative and adaptable skills, ready to work with everyone from the Finance team to our regional partners across the Pacific.
A good understanding of digital principles and experience with tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or Canva.
