Due to increasing global demand for our products, we are looking for an experienced Electronics Technician to join our Albany based team, initially on a six-month fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension. This role provides the opportunity to really get stuck in and become an integral member of the team.
You will be someone happy to work hard completing essential electronic tasks such as assembling and building products, testing assembled products and repairing products that have failed testing or been returned for service.
There will also be some involvement with new product design and testing, working with and providing input to our talented design engineers.
Ideally you will have hands-on electronic production experience.
Additionally, you will have the following skills and experience:
Experience working with SMD components
Good soldering technique
Ability to operate basic electronic test equipment such as scopes
Ability to read and understand schematics and assembly drawings
Knowledge of GPS and UHF RF techniques (desirable)
Broad computer skills
Flexibility to assist whatever required.
