E-Commerce Manager
Harris Tapper - Auckland or Sydney based
The Role
This role is an on-site role responsible for the ongoing evolution of harristapper.com ensuring the experience is seamless, elevated, and commercially optimised at every touchpoint.
Working closely with the Directors, Head of Operations & Finance, and Marketing, the role drives online growth through a balance of instinct, analysis, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Own and evolve the e-commerce strategy to drive sustainable growth
Maintain a refined, high-performing website experience from homepage through to checkout
Lead all product merchandising, collection launches, and site updates
Oversee digital marketing and agency performance, ensuring alignment with brand and commercial priorities
Drive SEO and organic growth through considered, long-term strategy
Monitor performance daily, with a clear understanding of what is working and what requires optimisation
Ensure operational alignment across stock, fulfilment, and systems
Continuously refine the customer journey with a focus on clarity, ease, and conversion
Required Experience & Attributes
Minimum 4+ years’ experience in e-commerce, digital trade, or online retail
Proven track record of driving online growth
Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate performance data into clear actions
High level of attention to detail and organisation
Experience managing Shopify (or similar platforms) and broader e-commerce ecosystems
Ability to operate across both strategic and executional levels
Commercially minded, with an understanding of premium brand positioning
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Genuine appreciation for fashion, brand, and customer experience
