Eye Institute is looking for a creative and hands‑on Marketing & Content Executive to join our marketing team in a part‑time role (4 days per week).

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating engaging, on‑brand content and working across digital, social, and print channels in a fast‑paced, purpose‑driven healthcare environment.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Customer Experience, you’ll play a key role in delivering marketing content that supports brand awareness, patient engagement, and national campaigns. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, clinicians, and marketing colleagues to bring stories, campaigns, and content to life.

Key responsibilities

  • Creating and editing social media content, including graphics, reels, and short‑form video

  • Identifying content opportunities across the organisation and managing delivery end‑to‑end

  • Managing website and digital content, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand guidelines

  • Supporting day‑to‑day execution of national marketing activity across digital, social, and print channels

  • Writing and publishing blogs, social media posts, and other content to strengthen brand visibility and engagement

  • Supporting email marketing activity, including drafting content and campaigns via Mailchimp

  • Working alongside the Industry Events & Marketing Coordinator to support event communications and collateral

  • Ensuring all content aligns with all content aligns with brand tone, visual guidelines, and industry requirements

About you

You’re a confident and organised content creator who enjoys balancing creativity with attention to detail. You’re comfortable working at pace, managing multiple content streams, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders. If you have worked in healthcare and understand the nuances of the regulations in this industry, this will be a huge advantage.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience creating and editing short‑form video for social platforms

  • A solid understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practice

  • Strong copywriting skills for digital, social, and email content

  • Good digital and software skills, with basic design capability (e.g. Canva or similar)

  • The ability to turn technical or clinical information into clear, engaging content

  • A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach

  • 2+ years in a similar role preferred
