IT Support Technician – Trusted Technology (Taranaki)
Trusted Technology is growing, and we’re looking for a capable IT Support Technician to join our team in Taranaki.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, problem solving, and working closely with both customers and team members. You’ll be supporting a mix of education, commercial, print, and audio visual environments, so no two days look the same.
What you’ll be doing:
Providing onsite and remote IT support to a wide range of clients
Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and AV issues
Supporting and maintaining client IT infrastructure and device environments
Managing and supporting mobile devices (MDM platforms)
Assisting with installations, upgrades, and system improvements
Working across education environments, commercial businesses, and print/AV technology clients
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in IT support roles
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi)
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and AV systems
Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
Nice to have:
Experience in commercial IT environments
Exposure to education sector technology
Knowledge of print or device-based IT systems
Experience with audio visual solutions (interactive panels, meeting room tech, etc.)
