Mo matou | About us
At Visionwest Community Trust, we believe in creating pathways for whanau to flourish and overcome life's greatest challenges. Rooted in our values of aroha, whanaungatanga, manaakitanga and mana, Visionwest has been supporting communities across New Zealand for over 35 years. We provide essential services in housing, health, training, food support, financial mentoring and more, with a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families to thrive. Together, we're on a journey to see communities transformed and futures reimagined through compassion, connection and action.

Mo te turanga | About the role

This role plays a key part in telling authentic, mana-enhancing stories of whanau, community impact and organisational life across our digital channels. You will create compelling video, photography, and written content that strengthens connection, trust and engagement with our communities and supporters.

In addition to content creation, this role provides hands-on social media support - helping create, publish, monitor and optimise content across platforms. You will work closely with managers and service leaders to ensure our social media presence is timely, culturally grounded and aligned with the values, strategic priorities and Te Tiriti journey of Visionwest.

This is a dynamic role helping deliver strategic and quality content with the capacity to respond to current events and activity in a tight timeframe.
