Most media agencies have senior digital experts, but this role is different.

It’s a consulting-style digital role inside a media agency environment, built for someone who wants to shape the thinking rather than manage the machinery.

You won’t be buried in team management, planning delivery or endless pitches.

Instead, you’ll be assigned to major, complex accounts as a senior digital consultant, bringing a sophisticated digital, audience and technology lens to the front of the work.

Your job is to help teams and clients make sharper, more proactive decisions around data, platforms, audiences, measurement and digital opportunity.


ABOUT THE ROLE

As Digital Media Director, you’ll lead digital media strategy across complex client relationships, helping internal teams and senior stakeholders make sharper decisions around data, platforms, audiences, measurement and performance.

You’ll work closely with client leads, planners, activation specialists, analytics teams and external partners to bring stronger digital thinking into the work. The focus is on improving the quality of digital strategy, connecting specialist capability and helping clients unlock better outcomes from their digital investment.

This is a build role with senior visibility, autonomy and room to introduce smarter ways of working. The agency is investing in digital capability, so you’ll have the opportunity to influence the roadmap, lift internal confidence and help shape what best practice looks like.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You’ll likely come from a strong media agency background, with significant experience across digital media suiting, strategy, and implementation. You’ll understand the digital ecosystem deeply, including programmatic, search, social, data, emerging platforms, attribution and performance frameworks.

You’ll also need the judgement to translate technical complexity into clear, practical thinking for senior clients and internal teams.

This role will suit someone who is commercially sharp, curious and confident in senior conversations. You’ll need to be comfortable with some ambiguity, because the environment is still being shaped. That’s the opportunity. You’ll have space to influence the roadmap, improve the digital product and build a body of work with real strategic weight.


  • Significant digital media agency experience
  • Deep understanding of programmatic, search, social, data and emerging platforms
  • Strong knowledge of measurement, attribution and performance frameworks
  • Experience across complex, data-rich or highly regulated client accounts
  • Confidence advising senior clients on digital strategy and performance
  • Strong ownership, judgement and ability to simplify technical complexity
  • Curiosity, commercial judgement and appetite to challenge the status quo
