Vast Print & Sign is a fast-growing New Zealand commercial print and signage company delivering high-quality branding, signage, and visual communication solutions to businesses nationwide. We are now seeking an experienced and commercially driven professional to join our executive leadership team as a Director of Digital Performance & AI Strategy.

In this senior leadership role, you will lead the company’s strategic sales, marketing, and digital growth initiatives while driving AI-powered commercial transformation across the business. The position focuses on revenue growth, enterprise-level client acquisition, digital brand positioning, and the implementation of advanced marketing technologies to strengthen Vast Print & Sign’s nationwide market presence.

Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Governance & Revenue Assurance: Directing the development of an enterprise-level revenue roadmap. You will not only set sales targets but engineer a Revenue Assurance Framework that utilizes complex financial modeling and predictive analytics to synchronize sales velocity with organizational profitability. This ensures maximum customer loyalty through high-value, multi-year B2B contracts.

AI-Driven Market Expansion & Digital Transformation: Leading the implementation of an AI Growth Matrix to promote the organization’s specialized services to the widest possible commercial audience. By deploying generative AI for campaign optimization and programmatic advertising tools, you will minimize Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC) while maximizing nationwide market penetration.

Brand Asset Engineering & Ecosystem Loyalty: Directing the creation and reinforcement of a premium 'Brand Image' that positions Vast Print as a strategic partner rather than a vendor. You will architect High Fidelity B2B Ecosystems that drive increased consumption of services through sophisticated brand positioning and the cultivation of institutional brand loyalty.

Institutional Reputation & Stakeholder Stewardship: Acting as the primary custodian of the organization’s image. You will direct comprehensive strategies to build and maintain an elite reputation with tier-one corporate clients, institutional investors, and the wider public, ensuring the company maintains its "Brand Premium" in competitive bidding environments.

Senior Competencies & AI Integration: AI Specialization: Mastery of AI-augmented CRM systems, predictive sales forecasting, and the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate and scale marketing intelligence.

Financial Acumen: Advanced capability in ROI auditing, P&L management, and cost-benefit analysis of high-stakes marketing deployments.

Skills & Experience Required

· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.

· OR minimum 5 years’ senior-level experience in sales, marketing, business development, or commercial strategy.

· Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing high-value revenue targets and marketing budgets.

· Advanced knowledge of AI-driven marketing platforms, CRM systems, predictive analytics, and digital advertising technologies.

· Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.

· Experience within commercial print, advertising, manufacturing, or related industries will be advantageous.
