Job description:

About the Role…

As our Engineer you will deliver, install and implement our printers and copiers on client sites, relocate machines, and return redundant machines to the warehouse. You will also refurbish equipment, ready to be redeployed. These tasks require a degree of physicality and safe handling practices. Additionally, you will provide training to our customers on the correct operation of the machines and simple error resolution.

Key Responsibilities…

  • Deliver, collect and relocate machines to customers
  • Refurbish Ricoh supplied equipment
  • Installation of accessories on customer machines
  • Carry out installations of Ricoh devices onto client's networks, including downloading and installation of appropriate software, applications and drivers
  • Train clients in the use of Ricoh software, hardware and print drivers
  • Set up of internal systems on clients' network
  • Diagnose network issues
  • Identify any customer requirements and liaise with third parties to assist with customer IT
  • Actively assist in the selling of Ricoh's products
  • Periodically perform maintenance and repairs on Ricoh-supplied equipment at customer locations

Skills, Attributes and Experience…

  • Well-developed customer service and communication skills
  • Technical aptitude
  • Sound IT knowledge
  • Understanding of network infrastructure
  • A valid NZ full driver's license
  • Strong computing skills including MS Office
  • Strong product knowledge and diagnostic capabilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills to disseminate information to a variety of stakeholders
