Your Impact
As part of Navico Group’s Power Product team, you’ll work alongside engineers, UX specialists, marketers, sales leaders, and operations partners in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. You’ll own the digital switching portfolio - spanning power distribution hardware, user‑interface modules, and associated software and firmware - across Navico Group’s leading marine power brands, including BEP, CZone, Blue Sea Systems, Mastervolt, Marinco, and ProMariner.
As Product Manager, Digital Switching, you will be accountable for the strategy, roadmap, and in‑market performance of our digital switching solutions. This role sits at the intersection of customer insight, technical depth, and commercial decision‑making, ensuring our products are robust, compliant, and genuinely valued by customers.
You’ll work closely with Engineering, UX, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and OEM customers to translate real‑world needs into clear product direction - from early concept through development, launch, and lifecycle management. This role demands strong product judgment, comfort with complexity, and a mindset that starts with the customer experience and works backwards.
At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive the product strategy and roadmap for digital switching solutions across hardware, software, and integrated systems
Be the voice of the customer, engaging directly with OEMs, integrators, and channel partners to translate market needs into clear product priorities
Develop and maintain clear business cases, including revenue opportunities, pricing strategies, cost models, and commercial targets
Partner closely with engineering teams to define requirements, prioritise backlogs, and deliver solutions that meet quality, safety, regulatory, and performance standards
Lead go‑to‑market planning for new products and features, including positioning, messaging, training, and internal readiness
Manage products through their full lifecycle, from launch through cost‑down initiatives and end‑of‑life planning
Act as the internal product expert for digital switching, supporting Sales, Service, Training, and OEM customers
Own and continuously improve product documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, wiring diagrams, and release notes
Technical Scope
Digital switching and power‑control systems combining electronics, embedded software, firmware, and user interfaces
Hardware–software integration within marine electrical and power‑management systems
Collaboration on system architecture, standards compliance, and integration best practices
Delivery of solutions used by OEMs, installers, and end customers in real‑world environments
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
What You Bring
A degree in engineering, product, business, or a related field is preferred. Exposure to formal product management frameworks is an advantage.
5+ years’ experience in product management or a closely related technical role
Experience working with hardware and software products, ideally in electronics, control systems, or connected devices
Proven ability to lead products from concept through launch and commercialization
Strong commercial capability, including pricing, forecasting, and performance tracking
Confidence engaging in technical discussions while maintaining a customer‑ and value‑led mindset
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without direct authority
Comfortable working in a global, fast‑moving environment across regions and time zone
You'll be based in a state of art office on the North Shore with some flexibility for working remotely.
