About the role
We are seeking a motivated Territory Manager to join our team and manage a portfolio of ophthalmic/optometry technologies, and operating microscopes across New Zealand. This exciting role combines business development, account management, and clinical support, working closely with ophthalmologists, optometrists, surgeons, theatre teams, and healthcare providers. You will be responsible for growing sales, identifying new opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer experiences across both public and private healthcare sectors.
Key responsibilities
Drive sales growth and achieve territory targets
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Deliver product demonstrations and presentations
Support capital equipment evaluations and purchasing processes
Coordinate installations and ongoing customer support
Attend industry conferences and educational events
About you
Proven sales experience within technical medical devices
Ophthalmic, surgical, or clinical experience highly regarded
Strong communication and presentation skills
Self-motivated with excellent organisational abilities
Ability to engage with clinical and procurement stakeholders
A proactive, customer-focused approach
NZ residency or citizenship required
