What's on offer?
We are seeking a skilled Video Analytics & Computer Vision Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced video processing and AI-driven analytics solutions. You will work on cutting-edge applications involving computer vision, machine learning, and GPU-accelerated inference, transforming video streams into actionable insights.

This role requires strong expertise in Python, OpenCV, deep learning frameworks, and real-time video processing systems.

Engaging with a key client, you will be working across smart surveillance and security systems, traffic and people flow analysis, retail analytics, industrial safety monitoring and AI-powered automation systems.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Designing and implementing computer vision and video analytics algorithms for real-time and batch processing.
  • Develop end-to-end pipelines for video ingestion, processing, inference, and visualisation.
  • Build and optimise machine learning / deep learning models for tasks such as: Object detection and tracking, Facial recognition, Activity recognition and Anomaly detection.
  • Implement high-performance video processing systems using OpenCV, GStreamer, or similar frameworks.
  • Optimise inference performance using GPU acceleration (CUDA, TensorRT, etc.).
  • Deploy models into production environments (on-premise, cloud, or edge devices).

What you'll bring
  • Experience in video analytics and image processing, including developing and optimising computer vision pipelines using libraries such as OpenCV, NumPy, and SciPy.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with Ansible in machine learning workflows involving using infrastructure-as-code to automate provisioning and configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenCV and video processing techniques.
  • Experience with frameworks such as: TensorFlow / PyTorch, ONNX / TensorRT.
  • Knowledge of image processing, feature extraction, and model evaluation.
  • Experience with GPU programming and optimisation (CUDA, cuDNN).
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and containerization (Docker).
  • Understanding of software development best practices (version control, CI/CD)
