Territory Manager / Sales Representative – North Island
Vision Marketing & Distribution is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Territory Manager / Sales Representative to join our team.
In this role, you will manage and grow an established customer base across the North Island, primarily from Waikato to Wellington, representing a leading range of reading glasses and sunglass brands. Customers include pharmacies, outdoor retailers such as Hunting & Fishing, and key retail accounts including Rebel Sport. In the future this could also expand into the optical channel with optical frames and sunglasses.
About the role
Visit customers on a regular call cycle to grow sales and build relationships.
Merchandise and maintain product displays.
Develop new business opportunities within your territory.
Service key accounts and ensure excellent customer service.
Competitive Salary and STI bonuses.
Tools of trade including vehicle and expenses.
About you
Previous field sales experience is preferred.
Ideally located in the Waikato and happy to work in the field and from home.
Experience calling on independent pharmacies and Green Cross Health pharmacies (Unichem and Life Pharmacy) would be an advantage, but is not essential. Previous experience selling eyewear would also be advantageous.
Well organised, self-motivated and reliable.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Hold a current New Zealand driver's licence.
Willing to undertake regular and extensive travel throughout the North Island, including overnight stays and being away four nights a week for some territories .
