This is a great long-term independent contract position calling for a Senior Network Engineer to support key project work. Specifically, our client needs a skilled engineer who is experienced in IP/MPLS design. You'll be joining a highly capable team, so we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and quickly become familiar with the existing network and broader technical landscape.
This is an opportunity to step into an established environment and make an immediate impact, working across critical network projects.
With their head office based in Christchurch, candidates currently living in the area are preferred.

What you'll bring
- At least five years of professional work experience operating as a senior in the network engineering field.
- Proficient in Juniper and Cisco MPLS design skills and experience
- Confident Multicast design experience
- At least a conceptual understanding of VHF over an IP Network
- Nice to have: Nokia design experience
