WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Senior Reporting Accountant, you should have strong GAAP knowledge framework, will be responsible for month-end close procedures, maintaining general ledger, the reconciliation of account balances, bank statements and credit card statements, reviewing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable subledgers. You should have a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Month-end Close and Financial Reporting
- Lead month-end close procedures and perform key closing tasks.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements.
General Ledger Management
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Review journal entries and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Tax Compliance
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings, including corporate income tax returns and sales tax returns.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Work with external tax advisors as needed to address complex tax issues.
Financial Analysis
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Audit Support
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual financial audits.
- Provide support and documentation as needed to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Implement audit recommendations and internal controls to strengthen financial procedures.
Consolidation Reporting
- Monitor intercompany transactions.
- Reconcile intercompany activities and settlements.
- Provide consolidated report for the enterprise.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.
SALARY
$100-$110k a year
SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday 9am-6pm (Hybrid)
